Human society travelled from solitary phase to today`s modern world. Development witnessed by humankind in Neolithic revolution to a globalized world.
        Since than the world has been ruled in segments by humankind, the entrenched position of an individual who governs over a nation were sometimes based on their bravery that earned a high social status for them or on their economic oligarchy, patronage, or based on tribesmen. A phenomenon of encapsulating lands beyond boundaries and hijackings one`s right to govern over his territory and exploiting their will to produce, slaves, recruiting serfs were the stigmas of colonization. Revolutions among masses erupted to gain social, economic and political status that lead to more inclusive mainly extractive institutions in last few centuries. Same in history critical junctures shaped nations and their behavior.
       Emergence of Mass Media has shortened the distances, one can argue that it has shaped a more compelling coherent world. It increased the efficiency of communication.
       However, BRI (One-belt-One-road initiative) of Chinese government is a revolutionary development for South Asian region more specifically for china and Pakistan. CPEC (China Pakistan economic Corridor) is a chain under BRI initially worth $46billion later increased to $62 billion. Its long term project was began in 2013 when NDRC (National Development and Reform Commission of Chinese government asked CDB (China Development Bank) to induce a detailed roadmap to know the involvement with Pakistan government under CPEC Chinese government has materialized risk and gains of the project it came to effect revival of old silk route which will be a dynamic change for china`s economy this includes 1800km railway track from Gwadar to Xinyang province of china, accompanied oil/gas pipe line, fiber optics, enlarged KKH. According to plan china is investing in building infrastructure roads, power projects, economic zones, dry ports, development of Gwadar bay to reach Arabian sea so, to Eurasian countries it will cut short oil supply to china from gulf and limits time to reach African countries. Once the link will establish china access will be to half of the world markets. This will increase the foreign investments in Pakistan, meanwhile consumerism will take off in the country forming a new consumer society, Pakistani industries encounter a new but comparatively cheap market. that will be a challenge for them to come up with cheap products yet a good quality. Seemingly Chinese firms are ready to invest Pakistani soil on lease for agriculture, power projects. By the project china will streamline its long awaited south province for development. This will create job opportunities and more entrepreneur to come up with variety of businesses and the Chinese producers will found a new market for their cheap goods.
Borrowed Development:
      Pakistani nation is under financial turmoil who`s international debt is creeping up day by day. PMLN`s government presented its 6th budged of $5600 billion.
The penetrating development under CPEC which is establishing on china`s money it might have been defined when to return and how? Here another question arises is still CPEC is a worthy project for Pakistan?
I say for some decades it would not be but for coming generations its prosperous.
CPEC`s Entrance:
     The 8th wonder of the world starting from Khunjrab Gilgit-Baltistan (non-constitutional part of Pakistan) elongates through KPK, Punjab, Sindh to Gwadar in Baluchistan some 1300km. locale of GB have grievances regarding their share in CPEC, they demand equal chunk as other four provinces had the privilege under CPEC. This region unconditionally acceded Pakistan after liberating its territory from the strong arms of  Hari Singh the emperor of Kashmir and its army in 1947 it hadn’t been considered or inculcated in constitution of Pakistan linking it to Kashmir dispute despite of having emotions for Pakistan the population is not constitutionally Pakistanis many occasions their loyalty is been checked, government of Pakistan undermining their wishes, occupying land for CPEC , NLC allegedly as land of government .this all happening will apparently increase frustration, people guise alienated.
There are speculations of asymmetric distribution of CPEC projects among other four provinces.
Societal shift:
    As emerging mega projects have increased Chinese labor, firms in Pakistan to secure positions (jobs) in these firms Pakistani youth is seeking Chinese language classes .fiber optics development will lead to broadcast Chinese programs through which Chinese culture thrive in Pakistan that is ultimately is a risk to vernacular culture , fiber optics will provide surveillance of CPEC and strategic points as to Chinese naval base developing at Gwadar.
    Evolutionary phases changed human attitude towards new and old, known and unknown. Colonial era development for own benefits formed mode of societies. Societal and institutional shifts persuaded by early revolutions. BRI of china as world are concerned about, how will it shape dynamics of the world powers economy, polity? Still there is a lot to unveil we as a nation hope best for Pakistan.
